Historic Tours

MEMORIAL DAY - LABOR DAY 2021 • $10

Take a step back in time and tour the 1898-built Weyerhaeuser mansion along the Mississippi River. Learn about the Musser and Weyerhaeuser families and their involvement and impact in the local lumber industry and community.

Tickets for Historic Tours will go on sale May 1st.  Tour dates and times TBA.  Reservations are required for a tour.  Please call or click the link to reserve your tickets.  A minimum of 1-hour notice is required for a tour as we do not have docents on-site unless advanced reservations are made.

Masks are required to be worn while inside the mansion and we ask that you refrain from touring if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness.  Laura Jane's Gift Shoppe located in the School House will be open in conjunction with touring hours and the capacity will be limited to 3 guests at a time.  A booth featuring Laura Jane's Gift Shoppe merchandise is also available at the Shoppes of Little Falls located downtown.

Garden Party Tea

MAY 8 • 1:00pm or 3:30pm • $35

Linden Hill presents a Garden Party Tea on the lawns of the historic estate. Guests will be seated by group and served freshly brewed hot tea along with an assortment of accompaniments. Guests are welcome to tour the 9-acre estate along the Mississippi River after enjoying tea.

Menu includes a variety of tea, finger sandwiches, scones, biscuits, savory muffins, petits fours, lemon curd, honey and jam.

Seating is available for groups of up to 6 people. All tickets must be purchased in advance.

Tickets for the Garden Party Tea will go on sale beginning March 1st. Please send us a message indicating the members of your group if you plan to purchase your tickets separately, or call (320)616-5580 to reserve your table over the phone.

Plant Sale

MAY 18 • 8:00am - 1:00pm 

The Friends of Linden Hill Garden and Grounds Committee will hold the annual plant sale at the Pavilion on Tuesday, May 18th. The plant sale will feature a wide variety of healthy perennials, garden decor and more. Plan to get all your spring landscaping done in one stop!

A Midsummer Soiree

JUNE 17 • 5:00pm - 8:00pm • $45

Celebrate summer and enjoy an evening of drinks, dinner and entertainment at the Linden Hill estate. The Musser mansion will be open for self-guided tours, and guests can enjoy a relaxing social hour featuring beer and wine before sitting down to a catered dinner of chicken Kiev over a bed of seasoned rice accompanied by a steamed vegetable, side salad and a dinner roll. A homemade dessert will complete the meal.

5:00pm - Social Hour and Entertainment Begins

6:30pm - Seated Dinner is Served

Tickets for the Midsummer Soiree will go on sale beginning April 1st.  All tickets must be purchased in advance. Groups of 6 may reserve a table.

LogJam5 - Havin' Fun in '21

JULY 13 • 6:00pm - 7:30pm • FREE

All are welcome to come on down to the Linden Hill lower grounds barn to partake in a socially-distant, open air concert on the Hill. This FREE, family friendly event is in its fifth year of showcasing the talents of local volunteer musicians in a casual, comfortable atmosphere.

Community Garden Tour

JULY 14 • 3:00pm - 8:00pm • $10

The Linden Hill Garden and Grounds Committee presents the annual Community Garden Tour. Guests are invited to stroll the 9.5 acre Linden Hill estate and take in the beautiful gardens in full bloom. Additional residential gardens will also be on display, and guests can make their way to each of the gardens at their leisure. This is a wonderful way to get some inspiration for your own gardens!

Guests may begin their tour at any of the featured gardens. Lemonade will be served in the Linden Hill pavilion.  Stay tuned for additional garden locations to be announced.

Make plans to gather with friends or family and spend the day enjoying all that nature has to offer. Stop by one of the local watering holes and take a break for dinner and an ice cold beverage to round out the experience.

"Raise the Roof" Fundraiser

AUGUST 3 • 6:00pm - 9:00pm • $25

Raise the Roof will take place on a Tuesday this year and will once again feature a delicious meal of roasted pork, fresh buns, homemade aluski and baked beans, fudgy brownies, watermelon and grilled cinnamon pineapple. Live music will keep your toes tapping all night long, or bring along your dancing shoes and help us celebrate preserving history!

Tickets for Raise the Roof will go on sale beginning May 1st.  Advanced tickets are available for $25, or tickets will be available for $30 at the door. Advanced ticket purchase is encouraged!

Christmas at the Mansions 2021 - "Believe"

NOVEMBER 26 - DECEMBER 5 • $12 

It's the most wonderful time of the year at Linden Hill! Come and explore two 1898-built mansions all dressed up for the Christmas season. The theme for this year's event is "Believe", and it seems to be a perfectly fitting theme after all we have experienced this past year+.  

Tours of the mansions are self-guided and are the perfect way to get yourself into the Christmas Spirit. Laura Jane's Gift Shoppe will be open for all your Christmas gift shopping needs and hot cider and cookies will be served at the end of your tour.

Christmas tours are available for the ten days following Thanksgiving.

Monday-Saturday from 1pm-7pm (last tour at 6pm)

Sunday from 11am-6pm (last tour at 5pm)

$12 (adults), $5 (12-17yrs), FREE (11 & under)
