Guided tours of the Weyerhaeuser (green) mansion are available during the summer months. Originally the home of Charles A Weyerhaeuser and his family, this 9,500 square foot home now serves as the Linden Hill museum. Come learn about life between the 1890s-1980s, hear about local history, and walk through much of the beautifully preserved, nationally recognized historic home filled with original Musser & Weyerhaeuser family heirlooms.

Museum Tour Details

Historic Tour tickets are available for purchase on-site at Laura Jane's Gift Shoppe located in the little white schoolhouse near the south entrance gate.  Tickets are available 15 minutes before each tour on the Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays during the summer months. Advanced tickets are available by request and can be pre-purchased through our office during business hours. Guided tours last about 45 minutes.

Adults - $10.00/person

Youth (5-17) - $8.00/person

Please note: Due to the irreplaceable nature of the artifacts displayed inside the home, children must be supervised at all times.  

Group Rates

Please contact us to schedule a group tour.  Groups of 30+ individuals will receive $1 off regularly priced admission along with free admission for tour guide operator(s) and bus driver(s).

Private Tours

Private tours of the Weyerhaeuser home are available year-round and must be arranged at least 48 hours in advance.  The private tour rate is $80.00 for 1-8 guests.  Additional guests (12 people maximum) may join for $10/person.

Walk. Bike. Drive. Enjoy a self-guided tour of the 9.5 acres of beautiful riverside scenery.

Signs at each structure share a brief history of its role in daily life when the estate was a private residence.

Lower grounds are unavailable seasonally due to icy conditions.

Please Note: Weddings and private events are held outdoors seasonally on the estate.  We ask that you please be respectful of the groups celebrating these special occasions and do not drive through the estate when events are in progress.  Thank you in advance!

Laura Jane's Gift Shoppe

Laura Jane's Gift Shoppe will be open for the 2025 season in conjunction with touring hours from Memorial Day - Labor Day.  Until then, our satellite gift shop is located at the Shoppes of Little Falls downtown. There you will find Linden Hill memorabilia along with unique gift and boutique items.

Estate History: The nine-acre estate, including both grand homes, was used by the Musser family until the late 1980s. Now the estate operates as a unique event venue and museum run by the nonprofit group, the Friends of Linden Hill, Inc.
